Dragonquest 2009 3 out of 10

A totally cheesy Lord of the Rings fantasy wannabe with everyone talking like a strange Yoday/Shatner crossbred.  Marc Singer (the Beastmaster) is totally channeling a bad Yoda impression for some unexplained reason and is looking quite old.   I guess he won't be summoning the help of any ferrets in this one.    "You will learn the power of restraint "  he says all hunched over.  It is a bunch of wandering around  gathering gems like in some video game.   And then there was the  NOT SO epic battle at the end.  A tame Wizards duel with Dragon spirits battling it out in the sky above them....Oh well it was from Asylum so what do you expect.

Click 2006 5 out of 10

I loved the concept of this movie ---But to be the cheesy movie critic -  "Click just didn't Click"   I think Adam Sandler was miscast in a movie that would have been better served with the talents of Jim Carrey.  There are some minor laughs as he begins to use the remote to fast forward and turn off the volume at moments in his --life.   Christopher Walken --playing himself as usual .  He doesn't act but instead does impersonations of himself.   My problem with the movie is when the magical remote starts automatically fast forwarding his life based on his previous selections and the movie starts to get to serious---The tone change just didn't "Click"  --I began to want to fast forward the movie myself which is never a good thing. I felt the movie didn't  take enough advantage of its high concept theme instead turning into a  It's a Wonderful Life message movie.

2 Bad Wilson Brother movies

My Super Ex-Girlfriend  2006  4 / and You Me and Dupree 4

Owen is by far my favorite of the Wilson Brothers  --Luke is just plain dull on screen  -while Owen has tons of personality.    Both this films had their best moments in previews.    Both films wasted the stories they could have exploited.    My Super Ex-Girlfriend was just slow –and the best scene with the digital shark thrown through the window was too late to save this flick.

You ,Me and Dupree didn't exploit the unwanted houseguest storyline and instead meandered into a pointless –Matt Dillion movie.   

Don't waste Owen who is talented  and just stop making Luke Wilson films altogether.
