The Wrong Man 1956 4 out of 10

The Wrong Man is definitely not one of Hitchcock's better films.
The movie is slow and plodding just like Henry Fonda's performance.   Henry Fonda by the way always comes off to me as an old man, even in his earlier films.  His character is supposed to be 38  (I believe he was 50 at the time it was released) and he plays it like he is 65.  The way he walks and talks he just comes across as an old dude.   The movie follows the story of a guy who is misidentified  as a armed robber and the process that his false arrest and trail takes.  It is based on a true story and feels like a boring true story as we follow  him through the entire booking process.....Nothing to see here---move along to a different better Hitchcock film.
