Steve Martin Month: The Spanish Prisoner 1998 9 out of 10

Steve Martin playing it straight as Jimmy Dell as a character that isn't exactly what he seems.   To talk about the plot of this David Mamet movie would be to give stuff away, so all I will say is that the writing is excellent. The story is amazing it seems slow and frustrating at first ,but then as things are revealed it turns into an incredible fun and twisted story.  If you know David Mamet's work this is him at his best.
