Bloody epic---  Based on the graphic Novel by Frank Miller  that   this  visual  masterpiece bring s   the legend  of how Spartan king Leonidas led an extremely small army of Greek Soldiers against overwhelming odds to stop the Persians from taking over Greece.   This subject matter was previously brought to the screen in the 1962  300  Spartans---a typical sword and sandal pic from the 60's  ---This latest version  --kicks it up a notch with its comic book style taking the basically true story into the realm of legend.   I loved this violent war film.   It was visually stunning---the battle scenes was amazing.    Sparta!!!!!   Even the cool animated Blood over the credits was  inspiring to the kind of stuff I'm amateurishly trying to write right now with the Pineappleman Saga
