This SYFY channel movie from 2009 looks like someone sat down and said. "What if we wrote a script for Firefly and had them on a planet out of Starship Troopers" Well I guess Firefly was taken off the air before they could submit there script....but apparently they decided to make this movie anyway. Connor Trinneer from Stargate Atlantis and Enterprise --stars as a fake Mal (Han Solo). The movie itself although a complete rip-off is still a decent rip-off but it is so much a rip-off I feel like talking about it will just be redundant. Watch Starship Troopers and Firefly and you really don't need to see them combined.
