Holiday Inn was a true holiday delight. Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire at the top of their games. You want singing at its best –I present to you Bing -singing the first version of the best selling song ever. White Christmas. You want dancing –Fred’s drunken New Year’s dance or the firecracker dance—f—ing brilliant. Good story with two great actors. I’ve always loved Bing mostly for his narration of the Disney Animated classic “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”—This movie and the accompanying commentary and features makes me want to see more on Bing’s work.
